Ronnie "Ron" M. Tunin, 75, passed away in Tulsa on Sunday, May 14, 2017. He was born Friday, May 23, 1941 in Okmulgee, OK to the late Claude Tunin and Velma (Scott) O'Keefe. Ron was a retired IT Programmer with St. John Medical Center and served his country in the United States Army. He was a longtime member of Christview Christian Church. Ron was an avid sports fan, OSU fanatic and a major Dodger fan. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Tom Tunin and step-son, Tony Erwin.. Ron is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Tunin; daughter, Tracy McGowen and her husband, Craig; son, Tim Tunin and his wife, Shelly; step-son, Darren Erwin; daughter-in-law, Sandy Erwin; sister, Win O'Keefe; grandchildren, Garrett, Gentry, and Gracyn McGowen, Zach and Clay Tunin, Brian, Adam, and Meagan Erwin and 3 great grandchildren.

There will be a visitation 6-8 pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. The funeral service will be 10am, Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Christview Christian Church, 2525 S. Garnett Rd., Tulsa, OK. Interment following in Benge Cemetery, Strang, OK at 2:30 PM.
