Ronald Grant Jacob, 82 passed away on February 12 , 2023 at his home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He was born in Chandler , Oklahoma on July 27th , 1940 to Otis and Dollie Jacob.
He attended Chandler Public Schools and graduated from Bethany High School.
He graduated from Oklahoma City University with a bachelors degree and later received a master degree in business from the University of Tulsa.
Ron spent his working career in Tulsa with Otasco at their home office for over 30 years. Ron was a buyer in charge of their many items that were sold in their retail stores.
After retiring from Otasco Ron began a second career as a professor at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma teaching business administration. He retired there as a tenured professor after 10 years. Ron enjoyed golfing and also took part in several Tulsa runs. Ron attended All Souls Unitarian Church and was a member there for over 30 years.
Ron was the family historian and if there was ever a question about family ancestors, Ron was the one you went to for answers. Ron was always up to date with the latest economic news and liked to engage with you on your ideas and thoughts. Ron kept up with his family thru calls and thoughtful cards. Everyone always looked forward to the very special Christmas
card Ron sent out always with a warm message. Ron had a kind heart and was a caring person to all. He will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Dollie, his sister Charlotte Rayburn and his brother Charles. He is survived by his brother David and his wife Linda. Also by his sister in law Sharon Jacob, nieces, nephews and cousins
