Ronald Paul White, Ronnie, was born in Tulsa, OK on May 18, 1960 to Thomas Lee and Billie Lee White. He was the fourth born child in a family of five children. Ronnie graduated from Thomas A. Edison High School in 1978. From a young age, Ronnie was a master at anything that had a motor - motorcycles, golf carts, lawn mowers as well as cars and boats. Upon graduation from high school, Ronnie went to work for Yellow/Checker Cab Co. For 22 years, he kept the cabs in good working order and on the streets serving the public. He spent the next couple of years working at an automotive shop with his youngest brother, Danny. Beginning in 2004 and for the next 18 years, Ronnie worked as a mechanic for the Tulsa Zoo. He especially loved keeping the train running and bringing smiles to countless children's faces. His love for animals and his love for his co-workers, who he considered his second family, made the zoo his perfect working environment. Most special to Ronnie was his son, Dalton. He would beam at the sight of him. Ronnie's love for Dalton was always apparent. Ronnie was an avid fisherman, loved the crappie cookouts at the lake, and had an unwavering love for his 1978 blue Trans Am. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Lee White and Billie Lee Hall White. He is survived by: son, Dalton and wife, Belinda, and granddaughter, Bailey Marie of Sapulpa, OK; brother Larry and wife, Dedee of Collinsville, OK; sister, Jeannie and husband Ray of Broken Arrow, OK; brother Kenny and wife, Valerie of Cypress, TX; and brother, Danny of Bristow, OK as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
