Born April 23, 1934 to Winfield and Neva Howland, Lincoln, Nebraska.
Died November 5, 2023 Sunday in his home.

He was a carrier for the Lincoln Star Newspaper, and caddied in Lincoln, Nebraska

After high school graduation he enrolled at University of Nebraska in engineering.

Christian conversion Sept. 6, 1953 at Bear Trap Mountain Retreat, Colorado

Enlisted in the Army Paratrooper 101 Division, May July 6, 1954 to June 1957. Made 18 jumps.

Call to ministry while in the 511thAirborne Division of the Army (18 jumps), chaplain assistant

1957 enrolled in Gulf Coast Bible College, September, BA received May 1961

Married Marcia Turpin, also a student, August, 29, 1958.

1960-1962 served as associate minister with Dr. Max Gaulke

1963 ordained to minister, first pastorate in Bartlesville, Oklahoma1962-1965. Son Royce born.

1965-1967 pastored Pagedale Church of God. Daughter Renee born

July 1967-May 1970 served as missionaries to Barbados, West Indies. Directed White Harvest Crusade - door to door evangelism. 348 trainees from the Island's 19 churches witnessed in 16,000 homes. 2221 decisions for Christ were made. Directed Faith Promise Missions Conventions in 19 churches and over $10,000 came in the first year.

September 1970 to May 1975 faculty of evangelism and missions. 1974 completed MTh at University of St. Thomas, Houston, Texas

1975-1979 pastored Richmond, BC. Pastor's chairman for Greater Vancouver, BC churches in the 1977 Campus Crusade for Christ "I've Found It" Crusade

1979-1983 assistant to President and faculty of Bible, Missions, Evangelism courses

June 1983 pastored Southpark Church of God, Tulsa

April 1986-March 1990 pastored West Eleventh Church of God, Houston

March 1991 pastored Fairlawn Church of God, Topeka, Kansas

1998 Retired and moved to Tulsa becoming member of Red Fork Church of God
2023 recognized for 60 years in ministry in the Church of God, Anderson, Indiana-by video
