Rosalie Jane Lynch, 87
Passed from our lives on December 16, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Rosalie was born April 28, 1928 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the youngest of four children of William Fred and Flora Catherine Young.
She graduated from Hot Springs High School and then moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma to live with her aunt, Rosebud Sudberry.
It was while she was working as a telephone operator in Okmulgee that she met and
married Joe Harrell Lynch who was attending Okmulgee Technical School. Upon receiving his degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma, Joe Lynch worked for a number of oil companies ending with Sun Oil in Tulsa Ok. Rosalie and her husband began a number of moves with Sun Oil from Tulsa; to Oklahoma City; Angola; Johannesburg, Plano, Texas; retiring in Tulsa.
Through the years they both enjoyed traveling around the United States and Europe.
Rosalie was a warm, fun, supportive and strong individual who loved her family deeply and was devoted to friends. She is cherished and, for the brief parting of this world unto Heaven, will be missed.
Rosalie is survived by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
