Rosalie Ann Veatch, 86, a longtime resident of Tulsa, died Monday, May 29th in Willow Park, Texas after a short battle with cancer.
Born in 1931 in Battle Creek, Michigan, Rosalie received a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition from Michigan State University in 1952. She completed her internship as a dietician at the University of Chicago Medical Center following her graduation. While working as a dietician in Casper, Wyoming she met her future husband Bill at a church picnic. Rosalie and Bill married in April of 1957 and enjoyed 57 years of marriage before Bill's passing in 2015
Rosalie enjoyed being a homemaker for 18 years raising her two daughters and was an active volunteer with her children's activities as well as being a devoted volunteer at Asbury United Methodist church. She returned to the workforce in 1976 and enjoyed working as a dietician for University Village before taking the position of Activities Director until she retired in 1992.
Rosalie was a warm and caring wife, mother and friend. She found purpose in every stage of her life serving others. She found joy in every day even during the last weeks of her cancer treatment.
Rosalie is survived by her two daughters, Martha Anderson (Dwight) of Moscow Idaho. Mary Beth Stasey (Kent) of Aledo Texas. And six grandchildren: Daniel Anderson, Carolyn Anderson, Patrick Anderson (Jayde) Rachel Anderson Lee (David) Tanner Stasey, and Samantha Stasey.

Viewing will be at Moore's Southlawn from 2:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, June 1st. Memorial Service will be Friday, June 2nd at Asbury United Methodist Church - Mason Chapel at 10:00 am.
