Roxana Lee, was born November 16, 1932, in Laredo, Texas to parents John Sherman and Myrtle McIntosh Leonard. Roxana grew up in the early years of the oil business which took her family to several different cities and towns throughout her youth. She attended Texas Women's University in Denton, TX where she met Leslie Stewart Harding. On the morning of June 21, 1952, after Stewart received his wings and commission as a Second Lieutenant in the USAF he was then free to marry Roxana. Later that afternoon in the Craig Air Force Base Chapel, Leslie Stewart Harding married Roxana Lee Leonard, his wife of more than 60 years.

When Roxana was not at Ft. Gibson Lake with family and friends, she enjoyed playing bridge, doing needlework, and bowling on a women's league with friends. For many years she volunteered at Children's Medical Center and later the Salvation Army until Stewart retired. She shared his interest in antique cars and they both were active members of the Tulsa Early V-8 Ford Club and drove their cars in parades and displayed them at auto shows.

Roxana is preceded in death by Stewart, her husband of 63 years and also her son, Leslie Sherman Harding. She is survived by her daughters Linda Harding Brillhart and husband, Doug, and Laura Ann Harding Peddicord and husband, Bob; and daughter-in-law, Debbie Harding, six grandchildren, Leslie Brillhart Koch, Greg Brillhart; Drew Harding; Parker Peddicord; Carson Peddicord; and Sawyer Peddicord; two great grandchildren, Jensen and Jase Koch, and two nieces, Barbara Harding Erwin and Cindy Harding-Woodhull.

Following a private ceremony, she will be laid to rest next to Stewart at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Roxana's name to the charity of your choice.
