BALLENTINE, Roy E., Jr., 76, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. Born September 22, 1939 in Fayetteville, AR to Roy Edward and Nancy Earlene (Huff) Ballentine, Sr. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Randall Ray Ballentine.

He was a Corporal with the Tulsa Police Department retiring in 1988 after 24 years. He remained with the City of Tulsa Neighborhood Inspections until 2010. He was past President of the Tulsa Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #93, and past President of the Oklahoma Code Enforcement Association.

Survived by his wife, Jane E. Ballentine of the home; two daughters, Dawn (Wyatt) Mitcham of San Clemente, CA, and Shawn (John) Oliver of Denton, TX; sisters, Patricia Ballentine of Pryor, OK, and Marsha Furrh of Bedford, TX; special niece, Tammy (David) Bassler and their children, Madeleine, Gregory and Timothy of The Woodlands, TX; special sister-in-law, JoAnn Riley of Tulsa, OK; other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; relatives and friends.
