Roy H. Phipps' Obituary
Rev. Roy H. Phipps, 63, of Broken Arrow, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 6, 1977, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, B.A., OK. He was born on Monday, November 3, 1913, in Wears Valley, Sevier County, TN, to William M. Phipps and Francis (Burson) Phipps. Rev. Phipps was a Church of God of Prophecy Minister, and married to Gertrude F. (Shelton) Phipps. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; daughter, Janice Neal of Macon, GA; two grandchildren, Jonathan and Jara; three brothers; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents.
