Obituary

DIXON, Royal Leonard "Lynn" Jr., 63, of Owasso, OK, passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. Born July 4, 1952 in Tulsa, to Royal Leonard Dixon, Sr. and Lela Mae (Casey) Dixon. Lynn was a graduate of Will Rogers High School, and received his Bachelors Degree in Marketing from The University of Tulsa.

In the early 1980's, Lynn moved to Wichita, KS where he worked as Manager of Purchasing for Pizza Hut Corporation. Later, he moved back to Tulsa and worked many years as the Director of Supply Chain for the Bama Companies. Most recently, he was given the opportunity to work and retire from Nothing Bundt Cakes as Vice President of Supply Chain at Shipp Distribution in Las Vegas, NV.

He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening, raised Koi, and loved flint hunting with his son, Colby. He never knew a stranger and his neighbors knew him for his patio visits. He was also known for his kindness, generosity, and dependability. "Lynn was a good father, brother, son, grandfather, mentor and friend to many."

Preceded in death by his father, Royal Dixon, Sr.; brother, Bill Dixon. Survived by his wife, Kim (Maloney) Dixon of the home; son, Colby Dixon of Broken Arrow, OK; mother, Lela Dixon in Owasso, OK; sister, Anna Anderson and husband, Bruce and their son, Evan of Owasso, OK; granddaughter, Abigail Dixon of Broken Arrow, OK.
