Ruby Beatrice Brunner, 86, died Sunday, December 13, 2015, surrounded by her family. Ruby was born October 27, 1929, in Tulsa, OK, to John Franklin and Mary Belle (Hicks) Nelson.

Ruby was a 1947 graduate of Central High School. She married Richard Wayne Brunner a year later, on September 11, 1948. In the 1970's, being a lady way ahead of her time, she began her own business with a friend, GNR Tax Service. They ran this business very successfully for many years. She and her husband were long time members of Will Rogers United Methodist Church.

Ruby is survived by her husband of 67 years, Richard Wayne Brunner; children: Jacqui Eller, her husband, Chris, Bixby, OK, Cathy Morganelli, her husband, Dan, Feasterville, PA, Bob Brunner, his wife, Julie, Owasso, OK. Grandchildren: Jennifer Tay, her husband, Paul, Tulsa, OK, Chelsea Brunner, Japan, Lori Bacon, her husband, Kelly, Stephanie Laughlin, Cyndi Russell, her husband Dan, Pete Laughlin, his wife Jessica, all of Tulsa. Also Chris and Casey Morganelli, Feasterville, PA. Great-grandchildren: Kyrsten Bacon, Kayli Bacon, Tyler Bacon, Alyssa Wigginton, Justin Laughlin, Joshua Laughlin, Taylor Hoffman, Dillon Hoffman, Isiah Russell, Selah Russell, Noah Laughlin. Also survived by her sister, Dorothy Shurtleff.

The most important thing in life to Ruby was her family. She loved and worried about each and every one. She will be missed.
