Ruby Ellen (Edgmon) Hollon, 77, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2022, after a long battle with cancer.
She was born September 16, 1944 in Mossville, AR to Jesse and Martha (Watson) Edgmon. Ruby was the youngest of 13 children. Growing up in Arkansas she attended church with her family and was proud to be baptized.
She married James Hollon on April 13, 1966 in Fayetteville, AR and began raising a family in Oklahoma.
Her life revolved around her family and her family thought the world of her. She was loved beyond words and respected beyond measure. When you think of her, you think of "home," always welcomed, always loved.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Hollon; parents Jesse and Martha Edgmon; seven sisters, Velma Sparks, Cleo Lager, Eileen Woods, Bertha Reynolds, Glenna Reynolds, Louise Grubb, Bonnie Regier; and three brothers, J.E. Edgmon, Wade Edgmon and Eddie Joe Edgmon.
Survivors include her two daughters, Angela (Kenny) Eden of Ochelata, OK and Melissa (Aaron) Poole of Cummings, GA; five grandchildren, Ryan Fox, Keaton (Tyrin) Fox, Sean (Hannah) Collins, Karlie (Dusty) Hinds, Annah Poole, and three great-grandchildren, Parker Fox, Marli Fox and Carter Hinds; two brothers, Ward Edgmon and Lawton Edgmon. Honorary grandchildren, Paige, Shelby, Easton, Presley and Kasen.
