Ruby Mae Molder was born September 22, 1924 and raised in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to
Shepard and Clara Bell Shelton.
After marrying Thomas B. Molder Jr. they moved to Hawthorne, California where they had
two sons, Thomas III and Jerry. After a short while in California they moved their family back to Tulsa.
Ruby lived in Tulsa until 2007 when she moved to the Sand Springs Nursing Home.
Ruby was a homemaker and took pride in being an immaculate housekeeper, she was
also a wonderful cook. She enjoyed embroidery and stitched beautiful designs on sweatshirts
for her family. She was a devoted pet owner to her beloved dog Bo.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, son Jerry, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by son Tom and wife Gail of McCamey, Texas, three grandchildren and
three great grandchildren, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her nephew Max Shelton who was a faithful and devoted caregiver to Ruby before she moved to the nursing home. He also looked after her when she was at the Sand Springs Nursing Home.
