Ruth Tuggle, 81, of Tulsa, OK, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, September 9, 1994, at Wood Manor Nursing Home, Claremore, OK. She was born on April 6, 1913, in rural Rogers County, OK, to William Jonathan "W. J." Wilcox and Lou Ella (Chaffin) Wilcox. Ruth was a homemaker and married to Grady Andrew Tuggle. Ruby will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives. She is survived by her husband; son, Clarence Miller and wife, Mildred Juanita of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Mary Lou Hopper of California; 3 sisters, Arrietta "Etta" Draper of Claremore, OK, Betty Maxine Clow of Nowata, OK, and Anna Pearl Schular and husband, Lloyd Lee of Piedmont, MO; 3 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; sister-in-law, Mrs. Frank (Nona Healani) Wilcox of Choutea, OK; and a lifetime of friends. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Roy Lee Bowes; 3 brothers, Pete Wilcox of Tulsa, OK, Frank Wilcox of Choutea, OK, and Charlie Lee Wilcox of Claremore, OK; 2 sisters, Florence Isabell Most and husband, Clarence Joe of Catoosa, OK, and Opal King and husband, Rufus Dawson of Claremore, OK; brother-in-law, Bill Jack Draper of Claremore, OK.
