Russell F. "Russ" Jones, 86, entered his heavenly home Friday, July 6, 2018. Born January 4, 1932 to Russell and Ida Pearl Jones. Beloved husband of 61 years to the late Jerry (Forister) Jones, father of Russelle Stokes, Julie Reid and Ryan Jones, and brother to Mary Neal and Betty Berry. Russ was the proud grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of 4. Russ worked for many years at Braden Winch Company as a manager and mechanical engineer, retiring in 1998. After retirement, he was a devoted volunteer for the Genesis One prison ministry. He and Jerry were members of Eastwood Baptist Church and the long-time teachers for the Caraway Street children's and Sonshine Singles adult Sunday school classes. Russ was a talented artist, author of two books, loved convertible sports cars, helping in Jerry's flower garden, and spreading the love of Jesus with everyone he met through his kind and generous spirit. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Service: Eastwood Baptist Church, Wednesday July 11at 1:30PM, graveside following.
