Ruth Margaret Casillas was born April 22nd, 1925 to Clifford C. and Leona L. Woodfill, in Paola Kansas. She grew up in Nichols Junction and Springfield, MO. She moved to Tulsa in 1945 where she worked for Western Union for 10 years. She went to work for Moskowitz Furniture as an inventory clerk and retired from there after 30 years, with the closing of the store.
She is preceded in death by her husband Paul, her son Paul Michael, parents, (sister) Sonia Bardgett, (grandson) Richard Harris II, (granddaughter) Angela Dawn Casillas. She is survived by her sons Dennis (Mary) Okmulgee, Christopher (Donna), Skiatook and Gregory (John), New Braunfel, TX. Daughters, Sally Downs (Joe) Catoosa, Ruth Harris (Richard), Coweta, Julia Vockrodt (Nolan), Tulsa. (brother) Michael Woodfill, (sister-in-law) Mary Nicholson, Olivette, MO, 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held, Friday, February 19th, 10:00, with webcasting available for all to view on our website, Pastor Tim Drier officiating. Burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
