Ruth Ann Hamilton Crank was born May 1, 1922 in Eufaula, Oklahoma to the late D.C. & Jessie Hamilton.

After graduating from Boynton High School at age 16, Ruth Ann enrolled at Oklahoma A&M where she met her future husband, Harry W. Crank. They were married in Muskogee, Oklahoma on June 28th, 1941 and moved to Kansas City where they lived in an apartment at the Plaza. Ruth Ann and Harry had the opportunity to raise their family in Springfield, Missouri where they resided for twenty-five years. They enjoyed traveling together and experiencing the different cultures of the world. At the time of retirement they felt it was time to return to their roots in Oklahoma where they settled in Tulsa. Ruth Ann is a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church, the Wordfinders Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women.

Mrs. Crank was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Crank and her brother, D.C. Hamilton, Jr., and son-in-law Robert J. Fontaine. She is survived by her three children, Janice Fontaine of Atlanta, GA, Roger Crank and his wife Mary of Oconomowoc, WI; Melissa Perugino and her husband Robert of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren, Todd Fontaine, David Fontaine and Christopher Fontaine of Atlanta, GA; Michelle Crank of Nashville, TN, Emily Luck and her husband Levi of Oconomowoc, WI, Gretchen Genz and her husband Brian of Ixonia, WI, Russell Perugino of Tulsa, OK. She is also survived by eight lovely great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, Oklahoma Methodist Manor or Grace Hospice.

Visitation will be 6-8 PM, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st., Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 1:30 PM, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Asbury United Methodist Church-Mason Chapel, 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
