Ruth L. Harrison was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on September 27, 1927, a daughter of Griffin and Edna Willis Hamilton. She graduated high school in Clinton, Arkansas. She married Jimmie O. Harrison on January 3, 1950. They had one child, Linda Lou Odom-Jackson. Ruth was a retired secretary.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Odom-Jackson and her husband Tony of Temple, TX; and 3 grandsons, Jackey Odom of Temple, TX, Johnny Odom of Tulsa, OK, Jody Odom of Tulsa, OK.

In additional to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie O. Harrison; her grandson, Jimmie Ray Odom; 2 brothers George and Billy Joe Hamilton; and a sister Geneva Kitchens

Her visitation will be on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. Her funeral will take place on Monday, Feb. 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
