SWANK, Ruth L., 82, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Born December 20, 1934 in Coweta, OK. Ruth was a League Coordinator for Sheridan Lanes Bowling Center. She was a talented bowler, and she bowled in many local and travel leagues. She was also a passionate OU fan, hunter, and fisherwoman. She adored and loved her family, they were the center of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Swank in 1989. She is survived by her son, Alan Swank; daughter, Karen (Jimmie) Curran; granddaughters, Nichole (Wesley) Reed, and Jennifer Curran; grandsons, Cody (Ingrid) Swank, and Gregory (Loren) Curran; great-grandchildren, Michael, Lexyis, and Paycen Reed, Leena and Zoey Swank; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Ronnie Swank; sister-in-law, Sylvia Darnold; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relative and friends.

The family wants to express their deep gratitude for the loving care provided to Ruth by the staff at Legend Assisted Living and Memory Care and Avow Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter, 2448 E. 81st St., #3000, Tulsa, OK 74137.
