Ruth Landry Lowrie born January 13, 1923 went to be with her beloved husband Neely, parents, three brothers, and grandson in Christ's loving arms on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

She is survived by her three children Bob, Janiece, Marsha and their families. Ruthie was proud of her 8 grandchildren and their families. Her 10 great grandchildren, who affectionately called her GG, were her joy and delight.

In addition to her family who were always first in her life, she was a registered nurse, golfer, tennis player, birder, elementary school mentor, and a great cook. She was a long time member of Asbury UMC, Priscilla Circle, Esther Circle, SonShiners Sunday School class, the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, neighborhood coffee, and NATCO Retirees. She was also one of the Dallas Cowboys' greatest fans. Her quick wit, loving smile, and hugs will be greatly missed by both friends and family. We love you Mother, Mama, Grandmother, GG.

Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Asbury United Methodist Church-Mason Chapel, 6767 S. Mingo, Tulsa, OK. Visitation is Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 at Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa.
