Ruth Ann Mcallister's Obituary
RUTH ANN McALLISTER, born January 22, 1927 in Gibbon,
Minnesota. Went to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 23, 2014
n Tulsa, OK.
She had four children, Fred (Claremore); Colleen Simons and husband,
Warren (Tulsa); Robert and wife, Debbie (Tulsa); Kevin and wife,
Ellen (Tulsa); five grandchildren, Cassie, Kyle, Danielle, Ashton and
Alex; one great-grandchild, Aubrey.
Ruth worked in the hospitality business for many years and as a
Preschool Teacher at the Church of St. Mary's for 18 years, where
she was a member for over 40 years.
She enjoyed gardening and OU football. She volunteered with the
Tulsa Opera Guild, NEATS (Northeast Active Timers) and with various
functions at Saint Mary's. She loved to play bridge and canasta and
watch sports.
A Mass will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 11:00 a. m.
at the Church of St. Mary's.
