Ruth May Phillips, 54, 337 N. 87th E. Ave., Tulsa, OK, passed away at home on Monday, December 11, 1978, of a heart attack. She was born in Terra Haute, IN on May, 20, 1924 to William Thomas Gibbons and Florence Harris Gibbons. Ruth was a homemaker, married to Melvin D. Phillips, and a member of Free Will Baptist Church, Locust Grove, OK. Ruth is survived by her husband, of the home; daughter, Mrs. James (Glenda) Sikes of Tulsa, OK; 3 grandchildren; brother, Paul Gibbons of Terra Haute, IN; sister, Mrs. Annabell Woods, of Owasso, OK; her church family; and a lifetime of friends.
