Elaine was born in Robinson, Illinois on 12/21/1942 to Guy and Beulah Schlosser and passed into the next life on 10/21/2024 at the age of 81 years in Tulsa. Elaine met the love of her life, Darrell, while attending Shidler High School and would have celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on December 20. She is survived by her husband Darrell, son Terry and wife Betsy, daughter Laura, granddaughter Meagan and husband Matt, grandson Jason, two great grandchildren Colt & Cash. Her niece Ann Martinez as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins that she absolutely adored.
She was an active member of Eastwood Baptist Church for over 10 years and had a humble servant's heart. Elaine was a hard worker, and she always placed everyone else's interest above hers. She loved being involved in activities at church, friendship club, and Cleveland senior citizens. Hobbies she enjoyed consisted of gardening, tending to the flowers at the church and her home, reading, and playing cards with her friends.
Last but not least, Elaine was an avid fan of the OKC Thunder.
She loved her family, both church's family and friends. She loved going to Branson and back home to her mom and dad's hometown of Shidler on any special occasion.
Furthermore, being with family and going to Texas to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren was always special to Elaine.
She will be missed by all that knew and loved her, including all her precious flowers.
This is not a goodbye, but we are rest assured that we will see her again.
The celebration of Elaine's life will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, at 11:00 am at Sequoyah Hills Baptist church, located at 714 N Harvard Ave. Tulsa, Ok 74115.
Please dress casually! You are welcome to wear OKC Thunder, OSU, and ShidlerBlue shirts or gear in honor of her favorite teams.
Your gift of friendship to Elaine and your support to the family have been all that is needed. If you feel led, a contribution to John 3:16 Mission at 506 N Cheyenne, Tulsa, OK 74103, in her name would be a wonderful way to honor her. Here is a direct link to the donation page:
