Obituary

WYATT, Ruth Margaret, 90, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. Born September 2, 1925 in Tulsa, OK to James Robert and Elizabeth (Thomas) Craig.

Ruth always said that her mission in life was taking care of her three daughters and they describe her as quite a champ in the parenting department. She also found time to run a successful furniture company and do a whole lot of singing in her spare time. She has had several brushes with fame. She was friends with Patti Page, sponsored stock car champion, Dan Diaz, and even worked for Oral Roberts.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie Bowles; daughter, Linda Burden; siblings, Ruby Kupiec, Rosie Butler, Raymond Craig, Royce Craig, and Richard Craig. She is survived by two daughters, Sherry McLaughlin, and Gail Hancock; seven grandchildren, Sheila Visconti (Arthur), Bryan Hanson (Melody), Jamie Hanson, Mark Hanson, Alina Reede (Ralph), James Burden, and Robert Hancock; great-grandchildren, Renae Visconti, MaKenna Visconti, Bryttonia Hanson, Cody Hanson, Bryanna Hanson, Aiden Hanson and Parker Hanson; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Regina Norwine.

Family suggests contributions may be made to your favorite charity in Ruth's memory. Visitation will be 6-8 P.M., Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
