Ruth Marie Meyer, 96, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Tulsa, OK. She was born October 21, 1922 in Newton, Kansas to Elmer Huxman and Mary Louise (Ummel) Huxman.
Ruth was a homemaker and attended Asbury United Methodist Church. Ruth married the love of her life, Albert Meyer on January 28, 1944 in Arnold, Kansas.

Ruth was predeceased in death by her parents and brother, Dale Huxman. She is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Albert Meyer of Tulsa; son, Steve Meyer and his wife, Joan of Broken Arrow, OK; daughters, Julie Wells and her husband, Steve of Claremore, OK and Jan Bannon and her husband, Mike of Checotah, OK; grandchildren, Jason Wells and his wife,
April of Elmhurst, IL, Ben Wells and his wife, Jonnie of Maitland, FL, Lisa Selph of Moore, OK, Amanda McConnell and her husband, Jason of Broken Arrow, OK and Melissa Meyer and her husband, Jeff Cox of Broken Arrow, OK; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Brown of Norman, OK and brother, Willis Huxman of Ontario, CA.

Visitation will be 3-5 PM, Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 17, 2018 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa, OK.
