Ryan Martinez, 35, former Sapulpa, OK resident, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in Wichita, KS. He was born on Thursday, May 29, 1986, in Tulsa, OK, to Andrew Martinez and Sharon Lairson. Ryan was an excellent custom auto body painter, and was commissioned to paint a 1912 firetruck for Derby, KS. He loved fishing with his brother, Steve, was an avid gun collector, and wanted to be a gunsmith when he was young. He enjoyed participating in Taekwondo with his mother, and he earned his Black Belt when he was 9 years old.

Ryan is survived by his father, Andy Martinez of Sapulpa, OK; his mother, Sharon Lairson, of Tulsa, OK; his brother, Steve Martinez of Augusta, KS; five nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends.

Although he left us way too soon, we are grateful that we can honor Ryan's life and for all of the wonderful experiences and memorable moments we've had with him. He will always be with us.
