Winford SABER Jackson departed from this life June 3, 2017, at home in Tulsa, OK, having lived 83 years, 3 months, 23 days.
Saber was born February 10, 1934, to Andrew Jackson, Sr. and Ella May Scott Jackson of rural Cromwell, OK. He attended the Excelsior schools.
Saber was in sales most of his life. Employed by B. F. Goodrich, selling both tires and appliances, then several different food service companies and retiring in 1995, from Kelly Haney Art Gallery as the Sales Representative, having shown and sold Kelly Haney art throughout the United States.
His passion was golf and he enjoyed playing several times week.
Saber is survived by his wife, Alice, of the home, three children - Leigh Martin, of Claremore, Deborah Gottshalk and Jerry Jackson both of Oolagah, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren. Two brothers- Kenneth Dale Jackson, Oklahoma City, and Sony Price of Seminole. One sister - Elwanda Holloway of San Antonio, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, two brothers - Eugene Jackson and Andrew Jackson and one sister - Carol Walker.
Service will be at 10am Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Moore Southlawn Chapel - 9350 E. 51st Street Tulsa, OK
