Obituary
Sally S. Abel took her final flight on Saturday, November 13, 2021. Sally was born January 13, 1942 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Arthur W. Abel, Jr. and Lois (Drybread) Abel.
She graduated from Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in Business. She worked at several hospitals along the way but found her home at St. Francis as a Radiology Technician.
Her true passion was flying. At 17 years old, she was awarded a flight scholarship and at the young age of 18 obtained her Private Pilot License. Her attention to details made her an excellent Pilot and Flight Instructor.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents and beloved younger sister, Terry (Abel) Rote. She is survived by a host of friends from coast to coast.
The funeral service will be held 2pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel at 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74145. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5115 S. Memorial Drive, Tulsa. The funeral service will be available via webcast at www.moorefuneral.com
