Obituary

Savvy, 95 of Tulsa passed away Thursday, September 25, 2014. He was born May 29, 1919, in Dewey, OK to Juan and Socorro Mary Murguia. He was a 37 year purchasing agent for the Petroleum Club. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor, was in the Navy during WWII and served on the USS Dale. He enjoyed watching Oklahoma sports, was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Survived by children Keith Murguia of Tulsa, Rebecca Murguia of Tulsa, brothers Albert Murguia and his wife Betty, David Murguia and his wife Louise, sisters Jessie Krider, Rosalie Ladd, Theresa Hartley, Virginia Thomason and her husband Bob, several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Rita Lou, brothers Tony, Manuel and Richard, sisters Anita Downey and Helen Heim.
Visitation 3:00 to 5:00 p.m, Sunday, September 28, 2014
Service 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 29, 2014, Tulsa Bible Church, interment Memorial Cemetery.
