Obituary
Sam Raymond Powell was born August 13th, 1938 in Muskogee, Ok. to Samuel Willard
Powell and Mary Claire (Burtch) Powell passed away June 8, 2014 at the age of 75.
Sam was an outdoors writer for the Tulsa World from 1971 to 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Powell, two daughters, Jennifer Leonard and Anne Brockman
and two grandchildren Ben Leonard and Tabitha Leonard.
Services are pending, but family will have visitation at Moore's Rosewood Chapel, 5 ti 7 pm
