Samuel Ashing, 61, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. He was born on Thursday, May 17, 1962, in Sapulpa, OK, to Jason Ashing and Wanda (Stockton) Ashing. Samuel served his country in the United States Army and was a metal fabricator for Time Marks Corp., and married the love of his life, Barbara (Torre) Ashing, on Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Rockaway Beach, MO.

Samuel enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, golf, watching OU football and Nascar races. He also liked to go treasure hunting at flea markets with Barbara. Samuel was a simple man, who was an excellent Pitmaster, known for his BBQ ribs, but, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family; especially, taking his children fishing.

Samuel was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ashing; stepchildren, Amanda Tune and husband, Bobby of Oklahoma City, OK, Michael Green and Fiance', Mary Barton of Tulsa, Timothy Green of Tulsa, Alex Green of Tulsa and Ashley West of Tulsa, OK; seven step grandchildren; brother, Tim Ashing of Tulsa, OK; sister, Jamie Ashing of Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.

Funeral: 1:00 p.m., Friday April 5, 2024, at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 South Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 741112, 918-622-1155.
