ANDERSON, Samuel "Sam" H., 92, passed away on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. He was born April 24th, 1922 in Brocton, New York to Herbert Raymond and Beatrice Fredricka (Morgenstern) Anderson. He attended the University of Tulsa before joining the United States Army in 1942. He served as a radio operator in the Pacific during World War II before being honorably discharged in 1945. He worked at McDonnell Douglas for several years before fulfilling a dream of having his own business. He became the owner and president of Midwest Wholesale Company and continued in that capacity until his retirement.
Proceeded in death by his parents and his brother, Dave Anderson, Sam is survived by his wife, Betsy Goff Willman-Anderson of the home; daughter, Leslie Paige Comfort of Tulsa, OK; step-son, John Willman and wife, Sharon of Glencoe, OK; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The family is comforted by the fact that, throughout his life, Sam had a close relationship with the Lord and demonstrated his faith on a daily basis through bible study and prayer. They know that he is in the presence of God and surrounded by loved ones who proceeded him in death.
Visitation will be from 2 - 4 P.M., Sunday, November 30th, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn. Memorial Service will be at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 1st, 2014 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel.
