Sam Neville, 60, was born on November 12, 1965, in Spain, to Jim Neville and Ella Louise (Brown) Neville. He passed away on September 3, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

On February 21, 1987, Sam married the love of his life, Lisa Palmer, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Their marriage was built on a love that was truly unconditional. No matter what life threw at them, Sam always made sure they would make it through together. Being able to marry the love of his life was something Sam treasured and honored more than anything. Lisa was not only his wife, but his partner, his greatest love, and the person he chose to stand beside through every season of life.

Sam was a dedicated husband and father who took great pride in caring for the people he loved. He was the proud father of Dana Blocker and husband Michael, Danyelle Smith and husband Sprint Williams, Disney Cook and husband Sir, and Daily Marris. He was a loving grandfather to Averie and Allie Blocker; Olivia Smith; Quinlee and Sir Jr. Cook; and Kolby.

Sam spent many years working as a mechanic for Harlan Ford Inc. His passion for automobiles went far beyond his career. He loved working on classic vehicles, including his dad's beloved 1954 Ford truck, and was always willing to help family and friends with their vehicles. His natural ability to fix, build, and create made him the person many turned to whenever something needed attention.

For many years, Sam also worked alongside his father-in-law, Billy Teague, laying tile. He was an excellent craftsman with many skills that seemed to come naturally to him. There was little Sam couldn't figure out when he set his mind to something.

Sam's love of cars brought him many friendships. He enjoyed being part of his car club and looked forward to meeting with his car club friends at Braum's, where they could talk about cars, share stories, and enjoy each other's company.

Sam especially enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Randy Allen. They shared a love of cars and often took road trips together to find cars or car parts. Sam couldn't have asked for a better friend than Randy, and the memories they made together were very special to him.

Sam was also a collector of Hot Wheels and model cars. His collections reflected a lifelong passion for automobiles and the joy he found in the hobby.

Above all, Sam will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. His unconditional love for Lisa, devotion to his family, generosity with his time and talents, and the friendships he built throughout his life will be deeply missed.

Sam leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, craftsmanship, friendship, and memories that will live on through his family for generations to come.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa; children; grandchildren; siblings Eva Hill and husband David, David Neville and wife Eileen, and Delta Smith; and brother Bryan Teague and wife Sara. He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws, Billy and Judy (Morrow) Teague.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Okmulgee Community Center, located at 1201 W. 7th Street, Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

The family invites friends and loved ones to come together to honor Sam's life with lunch, stories, laughter, and cherished memories. The family hopes this gathering will be a time to remember the good times, celebrate the life he lived, and enjoy the company of those who meant so much to him.
