While at home in Owasso, Oklahoma on February 23, 2017 Sondra June Bedwell (Sandi) left all of the people who loved her for the loving arms of her Lord and Savior. Sandi was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Pearl and Charles Spencer on February 3, 1949. She was the beloved wife and reason for being for her husband of nearly 30 years Michael Bedwell. They shared a happy and blessed life together during that time. She was the proud and cherished mother of Dawn R. Bulman and husband Barry as well as her son David R. Fender and wife Shauna.
Anyone who was fortunate enough to know Sandi knew how she loved babies and kids. She loved being "Noni" to her extended family of kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Her happiest memories were the times she spent loving, shaping, and spoiling her grandkids Jacob, Casey, Braxton, Mason, and Macey. She loved her grandkids more than life itself. Sandi always felt blessed to have a large extended family of kids, grandkids, and great grandkids to be a "Noni" too. She shared a special bond with her two sons-in-law Michael Jr. and Mark. She cherished them and their families.
Sandi's love and concern for kids led her to work for DHS in Pryor, Ok. She felt a special calling to help kids in a bad situation feel safe and loved. She took pride in the fact that she could be a ray of sunshine in the lives of kids who were experiencing difficult times.
Sandi was a woman of many talents. She made trophies and was a very talented custom frame maker. She owned and managed a very successful sandwich shop and was known for her mean Reuben and chicken salad sandwiches. She loved anything crafty. She enjoyed things like weaving; however, her true passion was Knitting and Crocheting. There are a lot of lucky people who received her homemade shoes, scarves, baby dresses, or special blankets. The speed and precision that she could knit and crochet was absolutely amazing.
Sandi was preceded in death by her beloved father Charles, her mother Pearl, and brother Dwayne. She is survived by her sister Joyce, and brothers Wayne and Jimmy.
