Obituary

Sandra Jean "Mamaw" Ferry, 80, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025, at Clarehouse in Tulsa, surrounded by the love of her family.

Sandra was born on April 26, 1945, in Bend, Oregon, to Norma (Chandler) Tucker and Edmon Tucker. She graduated from Lawrenceburg High School in Indiana in 1963. Sandra married the love of her life, George "Doc" Ferry, on February 27, 1965, and though he passed in 2000, his memory stayed close to her heart for the rest of her days. Over the years, she worked in sales, as a bank teller, and as a retail manager-roles where her kindness, patience, and ability to make fast friends always shined.

A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend, Mamaw was at her best when she was home. Whether reading a Stephen King thriller, keeping her son from eating all the peas in her garden, cheering on her kids and grandkids at their ball games, helping her sons with a last-minute school art project, or tanning by the pool, she nurtured joy from the small moments. She loved traveling-especially road trips that gave her a chance to see the world at her own pace-and she cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Above all, she expressed boundless pride in her boys and the families they built.

She is survived by her children: Patrick Ferry, wife Staci, and grandchildren Matthew (wife Dawn and great grandchildren Paige, Oliver), Sheridan (great grandchildren Jayce, Jeremiah, Zane, Averie, Kyrie), Daniel (wife Alyssa and great grandchildren Aiden, Mila, Ivy), Chris (fiance Sophia), Jacob, Jeffrey, and Max; Paul Ferry, wife Kimberly, and grandchild Gabriel (spouse Abigail); Stephen Ferry, wife Kristen, and grandchildren Aiyana (great grandchild Margot), Jaiden (wife Summer), Isabella, Rylee, Reese, and River. She is also survived by her sisters Joni Goslin and Darlene Tibbets.

Sandra is preceded in death by her husband George "Doc" Ferry, her parents Norma and Edmon Tucker, her siblings Donna Williams, Eddie Tucker, and Duane Tucker, and her grandson William.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Clarehouse Hospice for providing Sandra the peace, dignity, and comfort she desired at the end of her life. A sincere thank you to all able to visit during her brief moment of clarity-your presence reminded her of how deeply she was loved and how profoundly she will be missed.

A memorial service will be held at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home on November 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM, officiated by Daniel Chamberlin.
