Sandra June Flaherty, 75, of Tulsa, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023. She was born Sunday, January 4, 1948, in Ventura, CA, to Famous Charles and Mary Lee Hunter. Sandra June worked in retail and was a member of Faith Center Four Square Church. She was active in church as a Sunday School teacher, worked with less fortunate children and crafting with the children. She also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and crafts.

Sandra June is survived by her husband of 54 years, Tom Flaherty; mother, Mary Lee Hunter of Tucson, AZ; children, Shawn Flaherty and wife, Yongjia Wu (Carmen), Isaac Flaherty and wife, Crystal, all of Tulsa; grandchildren, Kaytlin and Hannah Flaherty, Joseph Tabares, Sarah Furlow, Christopher Thompson, Jayde Tabares, and Bethany Tabares; great-grandchildren, Sophia Thompson, and Mazikeen Grace Tabares; sisters, Carol Thompson, Roberta Cole, and Cheryl Morales; brothers, Robert Hunter and wife, Jalene, Charlie Hunter, and Harvey Hunter and wife, Melissa; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Famous Hunter; and her son, Tom Flaherty, Jr.
