Sandra M. Trombka, age 59, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away after a short illness, Thursday, February 6, 2020. She was born Friday, February 26, 1960, in Mexico City, the daughter of Henry George Trombka and Amparo Radillo de Trombka, who preceded her in death.
Sandra is survived by her beloved daughter, Sandra M. Fernandez, Jr., of Chicago, Illinois, whom she adored and raised single-handedly; her son-in-law, William Morgan; two brothers, Lawrence Trombka and wife, Maria of Tulsa, and John Trombka and wife, Pamela of Tomball, Texas; two nieces, Merrin Trombka of New York City, and Elizabeth Shea Trombka of Tulsa; and one nephew, Henry Trombka of Cypress, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved pet dog, Angie.
She was a Miracle of the Virgin of Guadalupe, having faced down poor health in the 1990s to raise her young daughter. She loved cooking, Mexican dishes, shopping, being with friends and family, traveling, and spending time with her daughter's cats, Bonkers and Charlie. Her friends and family will miss her calls and texts of encouragement, her promise of endless hugs and kisses, and her faith.
She will be cremated, with ashes to be placed in Tulsa, Mexico City, and Chicago. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 11:00 AM Calvary Cemetery Chapel 9101 S. Harvard Tulsa, Ok.
