Sandra Marie Wood-Cherry-Young-Gomez was born on October 24, 1949 and left this earth on July 13, 2019. She was born in Fresno, California to Roy and Lillian Wood. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roy Wood and her husbands, Troy Cherry and Ted Young. Sandy is survived by her a sister, Jean Vandewalker, her husband, Leonard of Choctaw, two sons, Robbie Cherry of Bixby and Lee Cherry of Tulsa, grandchildren, Cody Cherry of Coweta, Trish and Brodie Cherry of Bixby, her life partner, Jose Gomez of Tulsa and many, nieces, nephews and friends. Sandy was known for her many talents such as being a baseball coach to many boys, pilot, florist, auto salesperson and bar owner. She loved her horses and dogs.
