Obituary
Meyberg, Sara Bennett, 84, passed away on January 4, 2018 at Montereau in Tulsa, OK.
Sara is survived by her husband of 56 years, William B. Meyberg; son, James B. Meyberg; daughter, Mary M. (Carter W.) Maxey; grandchildren, Grant W. Maxey and Clinton B. Maxey II; and sister, Ann B. Antonelli.
Sara was born in Cherryville, NC to Galen J. and Annie W. Bennett. Her second mother was Nell B. Bennett. Her parents preceded her in death.
Sara graduated with a B.S. in Education from the University of North Carolina. She married William and lived in Virginia, Illinois and Pennsylvania before moving to Tulsa in 1973. She was active in her community including Assistance League of Tulsa, Children's Day Nursery, Community Food Bank and Habitat for Humanity. When William retired from Citgo Petroleum Co., they enjoyed living part-time in Destin, FL and traveling Europe.
Sara will be greatly missed by her family and friends who enjoyed her vibrant personality, sense of humor and loyal friendship.
The Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org) may be considered for memorials.
