Steven Scott Perry was born in Tulsa, OK on March 26, 1956 and died on May 5, 2023. He graduated from Jenks High School in 1974, received a BA in Biology (1979) and an MBA (1981) from Washington University in St. Louis. After a short time in New York with AT&T, he returned to Tulsa. He opened Novel Idea Bookstore in 1984, eventually expanding to 2 stores. Both stores closed in 2004. Scott began a career in real estate which continued until his death. He is survived by his mother, Dee Hausam, and his brother, Clint Perry. A private celebration of life will be held at a future date.
