Shane Lee
Mellon
December 17, 1976 – April 10, 2026
Shane Lee Mellon who was also well known as Travieso El Blanco was born in Corpus Cristi, Texas. December 17th, 1976, to Nancy Blaschke and Sheridan Lee Mellon. He had an older brother, William Mellon, who he always looked up to. And a baby sister, Alyson Rutledge, who he never stopped cherishing.
Shane had three adoring daughters, Rylee Jean Mellon his eldest born August 22nd, 2001, Raegann Elizabeth Mellon his middle born August 27th, 2004, and Raynee Sha Mellon his youngest born September 24th, 2013. Rylee was his princess and his punk all in one, a little Shane. Raegann was his DND test subject, and his outdoor adventurer. And Raynee was his best friend, his better half, his whole world.
Shane was in the Army from August 11th, 1995 to December 17th, 1999. He reenlisted on January 2nd, 2002 and within his time he heroically served two tours in Iraq before he was honorably discharged from the Army in 2011.
After the military Shane spent most of his time caring for his daughters and became a stay-at-home dad. Devoting his life to his kids, which he did everything for. From teaching them all how to drive, yes even Raynee. Or trying to get them to do rebellious things, like shaving Raegann's head. To only letting Rylee get a poodle if Shane got to dye it pink. Shane loved his girls with all of his heart.
On April 18th 2014 Shane officially became an honored member of the Rough Riders. He joined 3 different Chapters during his time in the Club, the Papago Chapter, the Caisson Chapter, and the Guardian Chapter which he was currently still a member of. Shane's nickname or as its better known his Club name, Travieso El Blanco, roughly translates to, Crazy white guy, which Shane most definitely was. "He was honest, devoted to his family and the Club, He was just amazing," Earshot, President of the Rough Riders
