Sharon Faye (Drain) Lower, 76, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on August 8, 2026 at home surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be held at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Bro. Guy Nolan of The Path Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, OK. Visitation will be held at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Moore Southlawn Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.

Sharon was born in Tulsa to Roe and Lillie Drain on August 6, 1950. She went to Webster High School and graduated in 1968. She worked as a Telephone Operator for Southwestern Bell for over 30 years. After retirement, she earned her CNA license and did home health for 15 years. Sharon found joy in so many of life's simple and meaningful moments. Her faith and her church were an important part of her life, and she cherished all aspects of being involved with her church family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and treasured every activity and memory made with them.

Sharon enjoyed domino days and lunches with her sisters, and she loved traveling and seeing all the places life took her. Most of all, she loved people. Just like her daddy, Sharon never met a stranger and truly enjoyed visiting and catching up with everyone. She had a warm and welcoming spirit that made people feel loved and at home.

She enjoyed being outdoors, taking naps, eating Mexican food, and watching her family participate in sports and activities. She was also an avid Oklahoma State wrestling fan and enjoyed cheering them on.

Over the years, Sharon participated in many activities and organizations. She was a member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) for 10 years, enjoyed being part of a bowling league, and loved taking walks with her beloved dog, Bailey.

Whether she was gathered around a table with her sisters, watching her grandchildren, traveling, visiting with friends and family, or simply enjoying a quiet moment at home, Sharon had a gift for finding happiness in the people and moments that mattered most. She loved deeply, laughed often, and treasured the time she was given with those she loved.

Sharon was predeceased by both parents, two sisters, Jannie and Thelma Sue and two brothers, Carl and Harold. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 57 years, Paul of the home, her daughter Sharyl and husband Darren of Tulsa, OK, son Tim and wife Leslie of Broken Arrow. The joys of her life, her three grandchildren, Kate and husband Ben of Broken Arrow, Dudley of Tulsa, and Libby of Broken Arrow. She is also survived by "the sisters" Dora, Norma and Caron of Tulsa, many nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.

Memorial donations may be made in honor of Sharon to The Path Baptist Church or The Live Well Hospice Foundation. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who has prayed, called, visited, and provided assistance during this time.

Sharon`s visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at Moore Southlawn Chapel. Her funeral service will be on Monday, August 17, 2026 at 11:00AM at Moore Southlawn Chapel, with a graveside following at Floral Haven Cemetery.
