Sharon Kaye (Lang) Mounce, age 77, of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, passed away following a long illness on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. She was born on October 18, 1948, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Floyd Lang and Helen (Aery) Lang.

Sharon was a 1966 graduate of Tulsa Central High School. She attended cosmetology school and worked for many years as a hairdresser, even owning her own business. She also worked as a Tupperware manager, and later as a teaching assistant and library aide for Tulsa Public Schools. Sharon had a beautiful singing voice and performed in a gospel trio with her mother and sister, sharing her love of music and Jesus with others.

An accomplished artist, Sharon loved to paint, originally working with oils but later discovering a passion for watercolors. This creative pursuit became a cherished activity she shared with her daughter, creating lasting memories and beautiful works of art together.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Helen Lang, and a son, Roger Mounce.

She is survived by her husband, James Mounce; daughter Amy Lagers and her husband Brad; son Doug Mounce and his wife Sandy; granddaughter Emily Lagers and her fianc'e David Ruiz; granddaughter Jessica Cogdell and her husband Brady; granddaughter Lauren Martin; great-granddaughters Kinley Lagers and Kennedy Cogdell; sister Patti Brite and her husband Raymond; brother John Litterell and his wife Bonnie; niece Stephanie Read and her husband Todd; great-niece Kaitlyn Aery and great-nephew Nathan Aery; as well as many other extended family members and close friends.

The family welcomes all who knew and loved Sharon to celebrate her life and the joy she brought to so many. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Calvary Temple, 4701 W. Edison, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74127.
