Obituary

SHARON (SHERI) IRENE SMITH RENFROW, passed away on May 5, 2026, at her home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sheri was born on October 14, 1954, in Tulsa, Oklahoma and was preceded in death by her parents, Walter D. Smith, JR. of Scottsdale, Arizona and Julianne Flint Pringle, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sheri is survived by her husband of 48 years, Kent Renfrow; their sons, Russell (Rusty) Renfrow (wife, Candice Phillips) of South Carolina, and son, Carter Renfrow (partner, Courtney Todd), of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Sheri's sister, Susie Kemp (husband, Brad) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Sheri graduated from Monte Cassino High School in Tulsa in 1972. She was a Tulsa Opera Deb in 1972. She attended Columbia College, University of Missouri and then Oklahoma State University, majoring in Chemistry.

Sheri was a longtime member of both The Altar Guild at Trinity Episcopal Church and of the Junior League of Tulsa. Sheri owned and managed Tapestry of Faith Gift Shop in Tulsa for 15 years.

Sheri was an avid bridge player. She was a very gregarious and generous person and a life-long dog owner and aficionado. Sheri's loving family and friends will sorely miss her, as will her four-legged daughters, Lexi and Greta.
