Shelley Umezawa went home to her heavenly father January 1, 2016. Shelley was born March 12, 1964 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Larry W. Aldridge and Mildred Hughey Aldridge. She was preceded in death by her grandparents W. Troy and Mavis Aldridge of Ft. Gibson Oklahoma and Lee C. Hughey of Muskogee Oklahoma and Sylvia Hughey of Warner Oklahoma, and a brother Harold Rogers Jr. of Muldrow Oklahoma. Shelley is survived by the love of her life her husband Ken, her dad Larry (Sharon) Aldridge of Muskogee, her mom Millie (Harold) Rogers of Muldrow, her Father-in-Law, Jyo Umezawa (Sue) of Tulsa Oklahoma, her brothers Duane (Dean) Aldridge of Overland Park, KS, Bradley (Michelle) Aldridge of Muskogee, brother-in-law Kris Umezawa of New York, her sisters Rona Young of Tulsa, and Joye (John) McCawley of Muldrow, the other loves of her life her nieces, Angel, Skyla, Haylie, Cheron, and Sophia, her nephews Dakota, Nick, Johnny, Sean, Marcus, Alex, and James and her adorable four legged kids, Sarah, Peabody, and Sputnik, and countless other extended family members and friends who loved her like family.

Shelley had many passions in life and was a giving and caring person. She was dedicated to helping the homeless with her work at the Iron Gate and was an environmental warrior doing work with the Tulsa M.E.T. She loved photography, gardening, her chickens and animals in general. Shelley was driven, focused and compassionate. She gave of her time and her love, and in everything she did, and every life she touched, her presence made the world a better place.

Visitation will be Monday, January 4, 2016, 4:30 - 8:00 pm at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home in Tulsa Oklahoma. Shelley's celebration of life will be Tuesday, January 5, 2016, 10:00 am at the Central Church of the Nazarene in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Burial will be at Warner Memorial Cemetery, Warner, Oklahoma at 2:00 pm. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
