Obituary

Sherman A. Hardesty, 63, of Claremore, OK, passed away Sunday, December 11, 1977. He was born on Friday, August 23, 1914, in Red Fork, OK, to Neal Lawrence Hardesty and Francis Hardesty. He was proud to have served in the United States Army as a Technical 5th Grade in WWII, and was retired from AAMCO. Sherman is survived by his wife, Eunice (Miller) Hardesty; 4 daughters, Sharon, Sondra and Teresa, all of the home, and Ann of Stillwater, OK; 3 sisters, Mabel Cathcart, Louella Shillings, and Florene Spurlock, all of Tulsa, OK; 2 brothers, Lloyd of Nashville, TN, and Glenn of Norfolk, VA; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Sherman will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
