Obituary

Sherrill Lou "Brashear" Miller was born on August 15, 1948 in Tulsa, OK. She passed away at home peacefully on May 6, 2017 after a long battle against breast cancer.

Sherrill was a retired team lead for Party City.

Sherrill was preceded in death by her husband Everett C. Miller, Jr., her parents, Gerald E. Brashear and Dorothy Long; Stepmother Reva Brashear, brother Gerald D. Brashear, and brother in law Cleve Ray Jenkins.

Sherrill is survived by her daughter's, Eva Beeler and fiance Clinton Beard of the home; Carleatha "DeDe" Larrabee and companion Jeffrey Lee of Tulsa; son in law Homer Beeler, Jr. of Sperry, and son in law James Ballantyne. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, James Ballantyne Jr. and wife Kaci of Lewisburg, PA, Andrew Ballantyne of Mattaponi, VA, Jesse Beeler of the home, Joshua Ballantyne of Tulsa, Harley Larrabee of Tulsa; and one great grandson, James "Jack" Ballantyne III of Lewisburg, PA. Her twin sister, Carroll Jenkins of Wagoner; brothers, Kenneth Brashear and wife Linda of Catoosa, Richard Brashear and wife Pam of Broken Arrow, and Roger Brashear and wife Robin of Sapulpa, and many nieces and nephews.

She was all about her family, she loved quilting and genealogy. She was a beautiful soul inside and out, and will be missed by many.

Viewing will be held at Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK, Wednesday, May 10th from 10am - 8pm, with family present for visitation from 12pm - 2pm.

Service will be at 2pm, Thursday, May 11th, at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK.
