Shirley A. Box, 84, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020, in Tulsa, OK. She was born on Saturday, March 23, 1935, in Tulsa, OK, to Edward E. Slocum and Lora B. (Shores) Slocum. Shirley was a bookkeeper for Skaggs and a registered nurse for St. John Medical Center. She was a member of Saint Mark's United Methodist Church where she was endued. Shirley is survived by three grandsons, Justin Cline and wife, Carri of Owasso, OK, Tyler Cowan of Tulsa, OK, and Alex Woodward of Tulsa, OK; three granddaughters, Sarah Luna of Tulsa, OK, Jocelyn Pruitt and husband, Kyle of Broken Arrow, OK, and Stephanie Woodward of Tulsa, OK; nine great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Box; two daughters, Shelly Grammer, and Cindy Cline; brother, Edward Slocum; and sister, Mariam Slocum.
