Shirley Marie Dyche, 79, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 2, 2024. She was surrounded by her family during her last hours of life. Shirley was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on March 29, 1945 to Hoyal Henry Pitchford and Doris Marie Burgess Pitchford.
Shirley was a born again Christian, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She graduated from high school in Porter, Oklahoma and later went to Cosmetology School. She was a hair dresser for many years and owned her own Beauty Salon. But most of all, she loved her family, and showed that every day through her dedication to making a beautiful home, home-cooked meals, and bringing everyone together for cherished memories. She was adored by all of her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Kelley and daughter-in-law Lisa Dyche; daughter, Shelley and son-in law, Greg Byrne. Grandchildren: Ashley Harrell, Kelley James Dyche Jr., Allison Owen, and Madison Byrne. Great grandchildren: Lorelei, Elijah, and Brynlee Harrell.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harold Lloyd Dyche, her parents, Hoyal and Doris Pitchford, and her brother, Kenneth Leon Pitchford.
Services will be held at 11:00 am. On Friday September 6th at New Heights Church in Owasso, Oklahoma and the interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Porter, Oklahoma.
