Shirley Ann Eastland, 69, passed from this life to her eternal home, on October 9, 2016. She was born on January 29, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Cleveland and Edith (Williams) Buis.

Shirley confessed to Christ at an early age. She moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1980, where her and her family started attending Metropolitan Baptist Church.

Shirley worked at Helmrich and Payne for a number of years where she met and later married her husband of 21 years, Robert Eastland. She had finally found her Romeo. They were together a total of 30 years.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Melvin Buis.

She leaves to cherish loving memories; her husband, Robert D. Eastland; an only child, Leah L. Todd, and her only grandchild, Shawn J. Todd Jr., all of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Also, two sisters; Geneva and Deborah Wooding of Tulsa. Three brothers; Carlos Buis of Chicago, Illinois; Michael Buis of Cleveland, Ohio and Christopher Buis of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Very close family friends, The Connelly's, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and treasured friends.
